Iran will attack financial and banking institutions linked to the US and Israel in the region, a spokesman for Iran's Joint Operations Command said on Wednesday, quoted by Reuters, in response to the attack targeting one of the Iranian banks.
“With this unlawful and unusual action, the enemy forces us to target financial centers and banks linked to the US and the Zionist regime (Israel – PAP) in the region,” said Ebrahim Zolfakari, spokesman for the Central Headquarters of the Iranian military, as quoted by state media.
