“In 2025, the number of green and distributed generation facilities connected by clients of distribution system operators DTEK Networks in the capital, Dnipropetrovsk region, Kiev region and Odessa region doubled compared to the previous year – to more than 5 thousand installations,” DTEK informs.
According to the company's report, the most connections were in the Kyiv region – 2804 objects. In the Dnepropetrovsk region, 872 objects were connected, in the Odessa region – 887, in the city – 169.
In total, DTEK connected 24.5 thousand green generation facilities to the power grid, the company reported.
“Each new distributed or “green” generation facility is an additional element of stability for the energy system. In conditions when the enemy systematically attacks large energy facilities, decentralized generation makes it possible to reduce the load on the network and restore power supply faster. We provide a comfortable and quick opportunity to connect new capacities, even despite constant repairs after shelling. This is our contribution to ensuring that communities and businesses have more energy autonomy,” noted the CEO “DTEK Networks” Alina Bondarenko.
