Czarnek program: VAT reduction on fuel, family promotion and fight against high prices

The PiS candidate for prime minister, PiS vice-president Przemysław Czarnek, started a discussion about what Poles expect from the state during a meeting with the inhabitants of Iława. He spoke there, among others: about the “horrible bills” for gas and electricity, the importance of family, and appealed to Confederation activists for “peace on the right.”

The PiS candidate met with residents in Iława (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) and proposed a “table talk.” – In Iława, together with the whole of Poland, I am starting a discussion – what do you expect from the state that is your property, not politicians? what hurts you, what you want for yourself, your children and grandchildren; what perspective do you want here in Iława, Elbląg, Olsztyn, Lublin and everywhere in Poland – said the PiS vice-president.
As he emphasized, Poles “solve problems and think about the most important issues for themselves now and for the future of their children and grandchildren at the Polish kitchen table”, where now also “we pay bills for electricity, gas, coal and heating“.
Bills that are terrifying. We are wondering how to pay for them, said Przemysław Czarnek.
He emphasized that he is putting a solution on the table “that should have been put on the table by the Polish state a long time ago.” – But it doesn't put it down, because this is Tusk's country, Czarzasty's country. This is not a country of Poles who don't know how to pay their bills. I am submitting a bill that will immediately reduce VAT on fuel from 23 to 8 percent. and excise duty on fuel by 9-10 percent. – Czarnek informed
A recipe for a “state in collapse”
The PiS deputy leader also accused those in power of making unfulfilled promises in the 2023 campaign. – When they came to power in 2023, lying, throwing mud at us, calling us names, even writing on Christmas tree baubles, you know what they wrote, giving young girls cards that they held with vulgar words saying they would never give birth to children again (…), they promised pears on willows that were unbelievable – he noted.
Czarnek said that “Tusk said that if he were prime minister, with one decision he would make gasoline price 5.19”. He also added that those currently in power “promised modernity and investments without borders.” – Ask the commune heads, mayors and starostas how much money they have now from the government for investments, how many tenders they announced. Zero, he said.
The PiS candidate also argued that “a politician is not there to promise miracles, but to diagnose reality and show solutions to help Poles.” He appealed to Confederation activists: Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak for “peace on the right.” – We are fighting against those who are strangling Poland today – he said.
Family vs “dog”
One of the meeting participants asked the PiS candidate for prime minister whether, if he became prime minister, he would take care of the closed maternity wards. Responding to them, he stated, among other things, that “the maternity ward, the gynecological and obstetric ward, equipped, prepared, with a doctor ready to immediately help the woman if there are any complications (…), should be very close to the woman everywhere – he emphasized. He also assured that PiS will “renovate those maternity wards that they have recently closed (…)”. – We will renovate the maternity wards, equip them and employ doctors on duty to be there when needed – he added.
As he pointed out, a country in demographic collapse must first tell people: “If you want a dog, have it, but on your own account and without promoting it“We will promote the child, the family, the mother, the father, the grandmother, the grandfather,” said PiS candidate for Prime Minister Przemysław Czarnek.
Bosak on Czarnek's words about “peace on the right”: There must be truth on the right
There must be truth on the right and accountability for the mistakes of those in power and drawing conclusions from them – this is how Krzysztof Bosak, deputy speaker of the Sejm and leader of the Confederation, responded to Przemysław Czarnek's words about “peace on the right” on Tuesday. He stressed that the Confederation cannot guarantee peace to anyone.
On Tuesday evening, on Polsat News television, the deputy speaker of the Sejm, the leader of the Confederation, was asked about Monday's words of PiS candidate for prime minister and vice-president of this party, Przemysław Czarnek, who said on Radio ZET that there must be peace on the right. – Marshal Bosak lies, follows the rhetoric of the Civic Platform and this is not a good direction for the right wing. There must be peace on the right, and on the right there must be visible one enemy who is destroying the country today, Tusk. There is no enfranchisement – Czarnek said then.
– I don't agree. There must be truth on the right. On the right, there must be accountability for the mistakes of those in power and drawing conclusions from them. Peace is a great excuse not to draw conclusions and to keep repeating the same mistakes – this is how the Confederation leader responded to Czarnek's words.
As he added, “if he was a supporter of peace, he would have joined PiS or Civic Platform many years ago.” – But I didn't do it (…) precisely because I didn't like what they did when they were in power. And we (as the Confederation – PAP) cannot guarantee this peace to Mr. Czarnek, nor to the politicians of the Platform, the Left, or the PSL. We are here to disturb their peace, Bosak emphasized. (
