Three varieties – and I don’t buy peppers all summer: there are juicy fruits in the garden, and there will be enough supplies until the New Year

If you dream of fleshy, sweet peppers that don’t get sick, don’t fall off in the heat, and provide a satisfying harvest even in cool summers, pay attention to these proven varieties. They grow well in open ground, do not require a greenhouse and produce a stable harvest from July until frost.

1. California miracle

The fruits are large, cube-shaped, thick-walled up to 8 mm, bright red or yellow when fully ripe. They keep their shape perfectly when stuffed, do not crack when salted and are wonderful in fresh salads. Productivity is up to 6–7 kg per bush. Ripens in 70–75 days and is resistant to temperature changes.

2. Pinocchio F1

An early hybrid with elongated, cone-shaped fruits, ideal for stuffing and pickling whole. The pulp is dense, sweet, without bitterness even when unripe. The bush is compact, branches well, produces up to 8 kg per plant. Resistant to verticillium and tobacco mosaic, gets sick extremely rarely.

3. Atlant

Mid-season, but a real champion in weight: one fruit can weigh up to 400 g. The walls are thick, the flesh is juicy, the taste is rich. Ideal for freezing, lecho and homemade sauces. Productivity up to 9 kg per bush with minimal care. Tolerates shade and short-term drought well.

These varieties do not require pinching, are rarely affected by diseases and grow well even in an ordinary garden bed without shelter. Just plant the seedlings, water once every 2-3 days and collect the peppers in waves, while the neighbors complain about the empty flowers, you will already be filling the freezer and rolling up the tenth jar of lecho.
