The ex-rector of the Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical University Albert Falaleev died

On March 8, at the age of 96, Doctor of Economic Sciences, an outstanding professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education died.Albert Falaleev, whose name is inextricably linked with the history of the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafiev.
The death of the economist was reported at the pedagogical university, which he headed for 19 years. It is noted that over the years Albert Falaleev made an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the university: strengthened its scientific position, contributed to the expansion of educational programs and the formation of a strong teaching school. During this period, the university was awarded three times with the Challenge Red Banner of the USSR Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the trade unions of educators, higher education and scientific institutions. And in December 1993, KSPI became one of the first pedagogical universities in the country to receive university status.
“The years of his rectorship were a period of growth, transformation and success, which laid a solid foundation for the further development of the university. Albert Nikolaevich combined administrative talent with deep scientific erudition. His research in the field of economics and pedagogy was distinguished by its relevance and practical significance, and his scientific works were widely recognized in academic circles. As a teacher, an honored worker of higher education in the Russian Federation, Albert Nikolaevich trained many talented specialists, generously sharing knowledge, experience and wisdom with his students. Colleagues appreciated him for his integrity, concern and willingness to help, and students – for his ability to inspire and guide. Even after leaving the post of rector, Albert Nikolaevich remained loyal to the university: he continued to participate in its life as an honorary member of the board of trustees, sharing his strategic vision and supporting new initiatives. The bright memory of Albert Nikolaevich Falaleev – a wise mentor, a talented leader and a man of exceptional spiritual qualities – will forever remain in the hearts of his colleagues, students and everyone who knew him,” KSPU employees wrote in their obituary, expressing deep condolences to the family and friends of the former rector.
