Abraham Russo, in a confrontation, identified the man who was involved in his kidnapping in 2004. This is Vladimir Shestopalov. Who did not admit his guilt and did not repent. He was detained at Sheremetyevo airport on September 4.
The man has been on the federal wanted list since 2018. Now the artist’s lawyer Andrei Aleshkin is preparing a lawsuit against Shestopalov for moral and material compensation in the amount of 5 million. It was Vladimir who was involved in the abduction of the artist in 2004 on the order of the oligarch Telman Ismailov, who was dissatisfied with Russo’s attempt to switch to another producer.
According to investigators, 20 years ago Ismailov deceived Russo into the Moscow restaurant “Prague”, then his accomplices beat the singer and held him for a day in a country house in Aprelevka. The artist had to agree to the demands put forward to him.
To participate in investigative actions, the singer interrupted his tour and flew to Russia.
