Laszlo Balint, nervous after the Steel had three players sent off and three goals disallowed in Hermannstadt: “It's serious and it's not entirely our fault”

Laszlo Balint, the coach of the Oțelul Galați team, was very upset after the defeat with FC Hermannstadt, score 0-2, in the last stage of the regular SuperLiga season.
In the Galaţi game, the hosts had three players eliminated (Bană '45+5, Zivulic '78, Iacob '85) and three goals disallowed (Luan '45 and '67, Zivulic '51, all for offsides).
“Black day for us! In addition to the defeat, as if from the first minutes the match went in a black manner for us. The game didn't work either and Bană's red came, which came after a clearly unsanctioned foul on Ciobanu.
I don't want to comment on the refereeing, for me it's a negative premiere and it's very hard to meet such a match where the home team has three goals disallowed and then three eliminations.
The biggest problem is that we finish the regular season in such a way,” said Laszlo Balint, quoted by digisport.ro.
Laszlo Balint: “Halving the points is unfair for us”
Following this result, the Steel ends the regular season with 41 points and enters the play-out with 21 points (benefits from rounding).
In the first stage, the Galatasarays will receive a visit from Csikszereda, and Balint spoke about how important the eliminations suffered by his players can prove to be.
“We are thin, I think we have the lowest numbered lot. I think it is not easy to manage at all. I am here and I will fight until the end no matter what happens. Halving the points is unfair for us, they are points won. The difference is drastically reduced and the first match of the play-out takes on a great importance.
And if we have to play with kids, I promise the boys will fight. There were similar situations in Debeljuh, as well as in Bană, but no yellow card was awarded. I repeat, I don't want to comment on the refereeing, but this limitation of options for the next match is serious and it's not entirely our fault”, said the Oțelul coach.
