The Bureau of the Regional Party Committee approved the initiative of the drivers of the Obluchye station depot P.V. Fedyushin and I.K. Bobyr for the production of flushing repairs by locomotive crews.

The high indicators of their work for 1947 were noted: the linear mileage of the locomotive with a target of 97 thousand km was 113,709 km, while 38,971 rubles of public funds were saved. The Bureau obliged the Obluchensky district party committee and the industrial department of the regional committee to disseminate this experience.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) on its pages talked about the deputy of the regional Council Stepan Aleksandrovich Svinarev.

“Stepan Aleksandrovich Svinarev came to Obluchye almost twenty years ago. The son of a farm laborer had years of service behind him in the Red Army, in the ranks of which he fought in the Don expanses for Soviet power, then worked as a depot mechanic, assistant and locomotive driver on the railways of the West and East. When the Nazi hordes attacked our country, Stepan Aleksandrovich was one of the first to express a desire to work for on the front-line roads, but his wish came true only in 1943. And now, a quarter of a century later, he drives armored trains near Stalingrad, Taganrog, Botaisk, Armavir, where in his youth he crushed white gangs as an infantryman. Stepan Aleksandrovich Svinarev was awarded forty years of work in transport. “The Order of Lenin, he has several awards from the Ministry of Railways. And the workers of Obluchye, for the third time, elected him as a deputy of the regional Council of Workers' Deputies.”

The same newspaper talks about the sporting successes of the young gymnast Tamara Lobanova, who is in 7th grade:

“I went to Khabarovsk for competitions twice. The result was good. In the summer of 1956, I competed in the second category and took first place, becoming the regional champion in artistic gymnastics. But I didn’t stop there, I began to train even harder. Now I’m preparing for zonal competitions. The next level is master of sports, and I will do my best to achieve this high title.”

The newspaper informs its readers that the final of the trade union-Komsomol cross-country race (6+), dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Soviet Army and Navy, was held in Khabarovsk. Teams from the Buryat-Mongolian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Irkutsk, Chita, Magadan, Amur regions and Khabarovsk Territory took part in the finals. The team from the Khabarovsk Territory was represented by the team from the Obluchensky District. “The ski team of the Obluchensky district was awarded the prize of the Military Council of the Far Eastern Military District. Team members who won 1st-3rd places were awarded personal badges and certificates.”

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Soviet Army and Navy, the Birobidzhan House of Pioneers held a competition (12+) for the best photograph, drawing, poem, fable, story:

“To familiarize the competition participants with the life of warriors, with the military equipment that the soldiers study, an excursion was organized to one of the units of the local garrison. Young artists made sketches of weapons there. During the circle's classes, they drew a heavy machine gun sent to them by the soldiers. Each circle member submitted 2-3 drawings on a military theme to the competition. Many interesting photographs were received from members of the photo circle. The collective work is completed by the young needlewomen. They embroider the Order of Victory, entwined with laurels, a carpet with a portrait of V.I.

March 5, 1971

A meeting of the active members of the regional and Birobidzhan city party organizations discussed the draft Directives of the XXIV Congress of the CPSU on the five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR for 1971-1975. The meeting approved the draft Directives of the CPSU Central Committee, recommended that the regional committee, city committee, and district committees of the CPSU ensure broad discussion of the Directives among the workers, and assured the Party Central Committee that the communists and all the working people of the region will make their worthy contribution to the implementation of the five-year plan, the construction of communism in our country.

March 5, 1977

First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the CPSU L.B. Shapiro presented the Birobidzhan region with the challenge Red Banner of the CPSU Central Committee, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Komsomol Central Committee. The district was awarded a high award for achieving the highest results in the All-Union Socialist Competition, for increasing the efficiency of the quality of work, and for the successful implementation of the national economic plan for 1976.

March 5, 1982

In Amurzet, a ceremonial meeting of the region's leading production workers was held with the participation of party, trade union and Komsomol activists, dedicated to the presentation of the challenge Red Banner of the CPSU Central Committee, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Komsomol Central Committee to the Oktyabrsky district following the results of the All-Union Socialist Competition for 1981.
