In Krasnoyarsk, the day of the front dog will take place. Krasnoyarstsev is invited to the gosli meadow Tatyshev-park on August 17 to find out about the features of the dog service in peacetime and the exploits in the war. The event starts at 14:00 and ends at 17:00.

Employees of the Center for the Kinological Service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory prepared demonstrations for guests. They will show how dogs are looking for prohibited substances and delay criminals. Pupils of the young dog handler school will also appear before the audience. The guys will perform a dance with four -legged friends.

“The Krasnoyarsk residents will visit a thematic excursion about the brave animals – the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The four -legged people made a significant contribution to the victory. 40 thousand dogs from all over the Soviet Union were serving at the front. They participated in the clearance of 300 large cities. They have more than 700 thousand wounded soldiers,” the press service of the mayor said.

At the bottom of the front -line dog, you can get acquainted with the work of the shelters “Alkin House”, “Barboskin House”, “My Dog” and “The Ark of Hope”. Their employees will introduce Krasnoyarsk residents with pupils. A free grooming salon will work on the site.

“Thanks to this day, we attract the attention of citizens to animal shelters, where everyone can provide all possible help. Last year, 600 people attended our event. We are very glad that the holiday was loved by the inhabitants. We are waiting for Krasnoyarstsev and guests of the city in Tatyshev Park this Sunday, ”Maxim Safonov, a methodologist for scientific and educational activities of the Memorial of Victory Museum.

Traditionally, on the day of the front -line dog, a competition of drawings “The most brave dog” will be held. It is organized by the Art Gallery 13a and the Boris Ryauzov Museum. The day of the front dog has been celebrated in Krasnoyarsk since 2017. It was organized by the Memorial of Victory Museum in memory of the heroism of dogs. The holiday is dedicated to the date of the feat of the army shepherd Diversion Dina. On August 19, 1943, for the first time in history, the dog was able to undermine the enemy echelon and return after completing the assignment.
