The best teachers and educators were chosen in Krasnoyarsk

Three large-scale educational competitions ended with a ceremonial summing up of the results at the Cultural Center on Vysotnaya.
The competitions “Teacher of the Year”, “Educator of the Year” and “Competition of Educational Process Support Specialists” brought together talented professionals from all over Krasnoyarsk. Educational psychologists, special education teachers, educators and teachers competed for the title of the best.
In 2026, 213 teachers participated in professional competitions, including 25 men. 61 teachers – in the “Competition of Specialists in Supporting the Educational Process”, 67 – in the competition “Teacher of the Year” and 85 – in the competition “Teacher of the Year”.
As a result, Veronica Dudareva, a specialist at the Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance No. 7 “Capable Child,” won the nomination “Special Speech Pathologist of the Year – 2026.” The representative of kindergarten No. 204, Ksenia Andriesh, was recognized as the best teacher-psychologist of 2026.
“I’m very worried, I’m still in shock. I didn’t expect to win at all; it seemed like I didn’t have enough experience yet and was too young for such a competition. But I took the plunge and won. This is unexpected and very pleasant,” Ksenia Andriesh shared.
The absolute winner of the competition “Teacher of the Year of the City of Krasnoyarsk – 2026” was the teacher of kindergarten No. 61 Varvara Likhodey. And the title “Teacher of the Year of the City of Krasnoyarsk – 2026” was awarded to Igor Krupetskikh, a teacher of foreign languages at Lyceum No. 11.
“Working with children is always a challenge. Education today is rapidly transforming, and one of the main difficulties is to organically integrate the educational component into the educational process. Holding an educational event was a serious test for us. In addition, the introduction of artificial intelligence into teaching remains a challenge – a modern teacher must be ready for these changes now,” noted Igor Krupetskikh.
The winners of the “Teacher of the Year” and “Teacher of the Year” competitions were awarded diplomas and city mayor’s awards in the amount of 300 thousand rubles. The best educational psychologist and special education teacher received 150 thousand rubles each.
“Today, out of 23 thousand people working in the education sector in Krasnoyarsk, the best of the best are present here – innovators looking for new pedagogical practices and solutions. The main thing is people who sincerely love their work and give a part of themselves to children. The education sector is growing: due to the merger of territories, we have 10 new schools and 10 kindergartens. I hope their teams will strengthen our large teaching team,” Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin congratulated the winners.
Professional competitions help identify the most successful teachers, support their achievements and disseminate advanced techniques that help improve the quality of education.
The absolute winners will represent Krasnoyarsk at the regional stage, and if successful, at the federal level.
