These are Terlecki's words addressed to the KO MP – two from November 9, 2017, one from December 9, 2020 and one from December 10, 2020 – when he first addressed him with the words “sit down, you clown”, and later called him a “Platform's idiot”.

Last week's judgment of the court of appeal in Szczecin – in the case that Nitras brought against Terlecki – ordering the PiS MP to apologize to Nitras, was executed by Terlecki at the Sejm podium on the night from Thursday to Friday.

– On November 27, 2025, the Court of Appeal in Szczecin issued a judgment in the second instance, obliging me to make the following declaration. I, Ryszard Terlecki, apologize to MP Sławomir Nitras for the offensive phrases and terms that I directed at him, (…) which offensive phrases and terms violate (his) personal rights – said Terlecki.

The PiS MP also added that he “regrets his behavior.”

Nitras uploaded the recording of Terlecki's apology to the X platform and wrote: “Slow, but fair.” The Minister of Education, Barbara Nowacka, also congratulated him for winning the court case.

In 2020, Nitras sent a letter to Terlecki in which he imposed a condition that if he did not apologize and donate money to several organizations, including: The National Women's Strike and the Lambda association will take him to court. Ultimately, five years later, the KO MP won the trial. (PAP)
