In turn, the president of the NBP assured that the National Bank of Poland is ready to cooperate with the government and the president regarding the “Polish SAFE 0 percent” program.
The President of the NBP, Adam Glapiński, speaking about an alternative to the European SAFE program, admitted that there are probably legal challenges. – But we start with what is regulated in Polish law and does not pose any problems when it comes to international law, and in particular the European system of central banks – he said.
He added that the condition is good cooperation with the Polish government, and in particular with the Ministry of Finance.
