In a post published on his social network, Truth Social, the leader of the White House claimed that the American arsenal of medium and long-range munitions is at an all-time high.
“The United States' stockpiles of medium and long-range munitions have never been larger or better. I have been informed that we have practically an unlimited supply of these weapons. Wars can be waged endlessly and successfully using only these supplies (which are better than the best weapons of other countries!).” Donald Trump wrote.
The president again attacked former Democratic leader Joe Biden, whom he accused of weakening US military capability through his support for Ukraine.
“Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of our country's time and money giving everything to PT Barnum (Zelenski!) in Ukraine. And while he gave him much of the advanced weaponry for free, he never bothered to replace it”Trump said.
President Trump added that during his first term he had “rebuilt” the US military and promised to continue building military capabilities.
“The United States is well stocked and ready to WIN, MAJOR,” concluded the American leader.
The statements come amid rapidly escalating conflict in the Middle East after the United States and Israel bombed several targets in Iran on Saturday.
According to reports so far, the attacks have caused hundreds of casualties, including the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Tehran responded with a series of attacks on Israel and US military bases in the region, including from Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
At least six American soldiers have lost their lives since the launch of the operation against Iran.
On Tuesday morning, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was targeted by a drone attack. According to the first information, no casualties were reported.
