The Berezovsky District Court sentenced a local resident accused of involving a minor in vagrancy. The woman invited the girl from the orphanage to go to Krasnoyarsk for a reward and abandoned her.
The woman offered the girl money to leave the social institution in January 2024. After that, she took the orphan to Krasnoyarsk and left him in entrance without money or food. The frozen and abandoned teenager turned to the police. They returned her to the orphanage.
The court found the Krasnoyarsk woman guilty under Part 1 of Article 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced her to one and a half years of suspended imprisonment with the same probationary period. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
