In June, a 20-year-old nursing student from Divnogorsk got a “part-time job” in an online store. The curators sent her a code to receive the package at the local post office. The girl took a box with 10 blisters – 140 capsules of pregabalin with a total weight of more than 56 grams. It was planned that she would make bookmarks with them in Divnogorsk and Krasnoyarsk.

But she didn’t have time to leave the post office – police met her at the door and detained her. During interrogation, the student partially admitted her guilt, referred to memory lapses and insisted that she received the parcel as a gift from a friend.

The court found her guilty of illegally acquiring and storing potent substances for the purpose of sale by an organized group on a large scale (Part 3 of Article 234 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Punishment is a fine of 100 thousand rubles and forced observation and treatment by a psychiatrist.
