How was the buffalo saved?
A buffalo weighing almost 700 kg had already been sold for Christmas slaughter when the Bangladeshi authorities decided to intervene in its case. The reasons were safety reasons as well as huge public interest. Ultimately, the buffalo was taken to the national zoo in Dhaka and the buyer received a refund.
