Mold is no longer scary – I add 3 ingredients per 1 liter of water and spray: protection for the home without chemicals

If mold appears in the bathroom or kitchen, you don’t have to immediately run for aggressive solutions. There is a gentle but effective way to deal with fungus and prevent it from coming back with three easy-to-find ingredients from your kitchen and medicine cabinet.

Take 1 liter of warm water, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 50 ml of white vinegar and 10 drops of tea tree essential oil. Mix thoroughly and pour the solution into a spray bottle.

Spray affected areas every 2-3 days, especially in corners, around tile joints and under sinks. Vinegar destroys mold spores, baking soda neutralizes residue and eliminates odors, and tea tree oil creates a protective barrier that prevents mold from returning.

After treatment, be sure to ventilate the room. A dry surface does not give mold a chance to develop. The prepared solution can be stored in a tightly closed bottle for up to a week.

This method is safe for children, pets and sensitive skin as it does not contain chlorine, ammonia or other toxic substances. At the same time, it works no worse, and sometimes even better, than store-bought analogues.

Question and answer:

How to get rid of mold without chemicals?
Mix 1 liter of water, 1 tbsp. l. soda, 50 ml of vinegar and 10 drops of tea tree oil. Spray problem areas 2-3 times a week. The product destroys spores and prevents the fungus from reappearing.

Can vinegar and baking soda be used together against mold?
Yes. Although they partially neutralize each other when mixed, in this case, the vinegar first dissolves the mold, and the baking soda remains on the surface, creating an alkaline environment that is unfavorable for the fungus.

Why does mold come back after cleaning?
Because they only remove visible stains, without eliminating spores or reducing humidity. For prevention, it is important to regularly treat surfaces and ventilate the room.
