Donald Trump versus thousands of companies. Lawsuits are piling up


In the days since the U.S. Supreme Court declared most of President Donald Trump's global tariffs illegal, more than 100 companies have filed new lawsuits, underscoring widespread concerns that the administration will not easily repay the billions of dollars it has already collected.

Public companies and well-known brands are joining the lawsuits. FedEx filed the lawsuit on Monday, followed by Dyson, Dollar General, Bausch & Lomb, Brooks Brothers and Sol de Janeiro USA.

Branches of cosmetics giant L'Oreal and shoe companies On Holding AG and Skechers USA also filed a lawsuit to recover import fees.
