Kodinsk high school students are invited to a profile russian-class class

The Center for Continuing Education and JSC “Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station” at the beginning of the new school year invite students of grades 9-11 of the city of Kodinsk to a specialized energy class.

Over the three years of study, schoolchildren will receive additional knowledge in mathematics and physics, which will successfully pass the Unified State Exam. High school students will study the work of the Russian energy system, will become participants in engineering competitions and will have the opportunity to take part in RusHydro’s summer energy school. Thanks to the lessons conducted by employees of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station, excursions to the station and communicating with peers from other regions, students of the relevant class successfully choose the future profession and receive additional points upon admission to the partner universities.

In 2025, nine graduates received a certificate of the end of the Kodin Rus Hijid-class. All of them successfully entered higher educational institutions to budget places. Seven chose the Siberian Federal University, will study in the specialties “Electric power industry and electrical engineering”, “Mathematics”, “Mechatronics and robotics” and other engineering areas. Two more graduates from Kodinsk will study at the Crimean Federal University. V.I. Vernadsky and Siberian State University. Reshetnev.

Three high school students who continue to study in RusHydro-class in July became students of the summer energy school. Classes were held on the basis of the Novosibirsk hydroelectric power station and were aimed at the intensive development of technical competencies with immersion in the hydropower industry. For eleven days, schoolchildren took part in the energy game “Building the Tower”, collected electric circuits, worked with sensors and a training hardware platform. For adolescents, they conducted trainings on the development of effective communication skills and master classes on public performances and self-presentation.

Throughout the shift, the guys worked on engineering layouts showing the advantages of the hydropower industry, and in the final they defended them. The interactive stand “Building hydroelectric power stations was recognized as the best. Save the farm ”, with the help of which the team described the problem of floods and demonstrated how it can be solved by the construction of the anti -flood hydroelectric power plants. As part of the winning team was a student of the Kodin RusHydro-Class.

The RusHydro-Class project (previously energy class) started in Kodinsk in 2011, eleven issues took place. Successful training is facilitated by system support of Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station JSC. At the funds of the station, the Center for Additional Education of Children regularly updates furniture, computer equipment and curricula. In 2025, according to the program of charity and sponsorship of Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station JSC, the Center acquired a virtual reality class, in which schoolchildren will be able to receive and develop new skills in the framework of the “Career Guide” course.

RusHydro-Class is one of the mechanisms for the implementation of the program of the advanced development of the personnel potential “From the new school to the workplace”. The project has been implemented since 2010 in the regions of the presence of the RusHydro group on the basis of partner educational organizations. The purpose of the project is the professional orientation of schoolchildren in grades 9-11, popularization of the energy profession, acquaintance with the energy industry and the activities of the RusHydro group, as well as the support of the engineering and technical creativity of students. During the implementation of the project, 85% of energy class graduates chose specialized areas of training at technical universities, including in the company's universities: MAI, the Volga branch of the MAI, the SAA-Shushensky branch of the Siberian Federal District, regularly undergoes practice at the company's energy facilities.
