Krasnoyarsk was fined 1 million rubles for bribing an institute teacher

In Krasnoyarsk, a court issued a verdict in a criminal case of bribery to a teacher at the Institute of Railway Transport.

The press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said that the defendant provided paid services for the preparation of coursework and tests. In 2024, she gave a bribe of 199 thousand rubles to a teacher at the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Railway Transport. For this, she wanted university students to purchase the materials she had prepared to successfully pass the intermediate certification in subjects.

Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “b” of Part 4 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (giving a bribe).

Sovetsky District Court of Krasnoyarskfound the woman guilty and sentenced her to punishment in the form of a fine of 1 million rubles.
