2 minutes in the morning, and the “between the eyebrows” will disappear – no frowning, I don’t squint even in the spring sun

An expert in natural rejuvenation spoke in the Zen blog “Irina Dovgaleva” (18+) about why the “angry” fold appears between the eyebrows and how to deal with it without Botox.

Where does the glabellar wrinkle come from?

The main role here is played by two facial muscles. The first is a muscle that pulls the skin between the eyebrows down, causing a vertical crease to appear. Most often it is associated with tension and concentration. The second muscle is responsible for moving the eyebrows towards the center, and it forms diagonal lines. This muscle is especially active when feeling anxious or trying to control emotions.

Often the eyebrow fold is visible in the morning, since it is impossible to control facial expressions and emotions during sleep.

To relax this zone, the expert recommends a simple exercise:

Place the pad of your finger on the area between the bridge of your nose and the beginning of your eyebrow. Notice the density under the skin. Gently knead the area, as if distributing tension across the bone. Then gently pinch the area as if separating the skin from the bone. After this, leave one hand on the crease, and with the other hand gently smooth the skin, slightly stretching it to the sides.

And at the end of the day, the specialist performs a simple ritual to combat dry wrinkles on the forehead. First, she cleanses the skin and applies care. Then take a gua sha scraper or a regular spoon with smooth edges. For 30 seconds, the instrument is carried out along the area between the eyebrows and other problem areas, if necessary, slightly stretching the skin with two fingers.

At night, Irina Dovgaleva advises additionally sticking tape, but before using them, it is recommended to consult with specialists.
