Police have identified the owner of the “exhausted” deer that was giving rides to Maslenitsa visitors in Sukhobuzimsky

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police checked information about an incident with a reindeer during the Maslenitsa celebration in Sukhobuzimsky. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

Let us remind you that the incident occurred on February 22 at Maslenitsa in Sukhobuzimsky. Holiday visitors I was outraged by the cruel treatment of reindeer. According to eyewitnesses, the animal was harnessed to a sleigh and forced to give people rides. At the same time, the deer itself was exhausted and could barely move. The police organized an investigation into this fact.

Currently, law enforcement officers have identified and interviewed the owner of the animal.

“As the police found out, the deer named Sultan belongs to an individual entrepreneur. Eyewitnesses to the incident were also interviewed. In addition, the police carried out an inspection of the living conditions of the animal in the village of Solontsy,” the regional police said.

The collected inspection materials were sent to the state veterinary service of the region for making a procedural decision.
