In the Krasnoyarsk village of Berezovka, police officers, with force support from the special forces of the Russian Guard, detained a suspect of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
A TOZ rifled gun and cartridges of various calibers were seized from the private home of a previously convicted 41-year-old man.
The defendant explained that he got the arsenal from his late grandfather.

A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of weapons, main parts of firearms, ammunition.” In addition, administrative material was collected regarding the storage of cartridges for smooth-bore weapons under Part 1 of Art. 20.8 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The man was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
