A Krasnoyarsk resident who ordered testosterone from India faces prison time

Krasnoyarsk customs officers intercepted an international parcel with a prohibited substance that was trying to be delivered to the city from India. The parcel addressed to a 35-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident contained almost 450 grams of a potent substance – testosterone enanthate.
The operation was carried out jointly with the anti-smuggling department of the Federal Customs Service of Russia and other law enforcement agencies. The examination confirmed that the seized substance is a modified form of testosterone and belongs to the category prohibited for import into Russia.
A criminal case of smuggling has been opened against the recipient of the parcel. The man faces up to seven years in prison. Now he has given an obligation to appear when summonsed by investigators. The seized substance has been sent for further investigation.
