Dynamo played in Lviv against Bukovina from Chernivtsi-the only club that in the semifinals of the tournament represented not the Premier League, but the first league.
The favorite of the fight was the capital's team, but the first half ended with a score of 1: 0 in favor of Bukovina-in the 23rd minute the player Bogdan Boychuk distinguished himself.
The advantage of the team from Chernivtsi lasted until the 58th minute, when Nazar Voloshin from Dynamo equalized the score.
After that, Dynamo scored three more times: again Voloshin (63rd minute), Vladimir Brazhko (from a penalty, in the 72nd minute) and Nikolai Shaparenko (76th minute).
“For the first half, we went out not as motivated as the Bukovins players who held a wonderful first half of the meeting. Perhaps the guys went to this game with thoughts already about the match of the next round of the Ukrainian championship. Only by this I can explain our actions in the first half. In the second half we made certain conclusions and held the replacements, and then the game was already in our scenario,” the main one commented on the game. Coach Kievan Alexander Shovkovsky.
Shakhtar played his semifinals in Zhytomyr against the local Polesie.
Two taims of the main time of the game ended without goals scored, so the teams had to play another two more halves.
In the 114th minute of the fight, the effective attack was a successful team, and the Brazilian legionnaire of Shakhtar Alisson Santana scored.
This goal eventually became decisive – 1: 0 in favor of Shakhtar.
