We now pay PLN 113.12 for basic food products – say PanParagon experts. This means that in a week the price of such purchases increased by PLN 1.73 (and therefore by 1.6%).
It is also clearly more expensive in stores than in 2025 at the same time of year. Exactly a year ago, identical purchases cost us PLN 112.54.
Only three products have become cheaper
Potatoes are becoming more expensive – by more than 10%. on a weekly basis. 1 kg now costs PLN 2.77 gr. There are also significant increases in the case of wheat cake flour (an increase of 7.5%) and sugar (an increase of over 5%).
The price of chicken breast, the most expensive product in our basket, increased by 1.5. On average, 1 kg now costs PLN 23.32.

In total, as many as ten products from the basket increased in price in a week. Three of them have become cheaper: broccoli, bananas and butter. The biggest decline – by 2.5%. — concerns this last product. However, the price of a kaiser roll remains unchanged.
