Mexican special forces carried out a successful operation against one of the most wanted gangsters in the world, Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho”. The 59-year-old was the leader of the brutal Jalisco New Generation Cartel (JNGC). In retaliation, the gangsters began to spread terror among the civilian population. Videos showing terrified travelers at the airport in Guadalajara have circulated online.
