Britain's King Charles says “the law must take its course” and expresses “deep concern” about the arrest of his younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the BBC reports.
“It was with the deepest concern that we heard the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is a full, fair and proper process for this matter to be properly investigated by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said, they have our full and sincere support and cooperation,” King Charles said in a statement.
“Let me be clear: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further on the matter. In the meantime, my family and I will continue to do our duty and be at your service,” the King of Great Britain concluded.
