The head of FIFA has repeatedly emphasized that he supports Trump's candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize. In December, during the draw for the World Cup groups, he presented the FIFA Peace Prize to the US president.

Representatives of 49 countries attended the first meeting of the Council of Europe. Most of them were there as observers. Nearly 20 countries were represented at the level of president or prime minister. Poland's representative was presidential minister Marcin Przydacz.
