Poland has become an oasis of stability and growth despite geostrategic uncertainty and other events, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Warsaw on Wednesday. He added that economic growth in 2025 will be 3.6%.

– Despite the circumstances and geostrategic uncertainty, despite the dramatic events near our borders and in countries that were previously a rock of stability, despite all this, Poland has become an oasis of stability and growth – said the head of government during a conference at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The Prime Minister also announced that 2026 will be a “year of acceleration”.
Tusk: in 2026, investments will increase by nearly 10%.
– I can say with satisfaction that our forecasts, and not at all overly optimistic, for 2026, the year of this turbo acceleration, are close to 10%. when it comes to investments, Tusk said at the conference.
The head of government emphasized that a year ago he was talking about 2025 as a “year of investment and breakthrough”. As he pointed out, today he can announce with greater certainty that 2026 will be a period of significant acceleration, despite unfavorable geostrategic circumstances, including the Russian-Ukrainian war and instability in many countries around the world.
The Prime Minister assessed that Poland has become an “oasis of stability and growth”, and macroeconomic data justify – as he put it – “optimism”. According to him, economic growth in 2025 amounted to 3.6 percent, which places Poland among the leaders in the European Union, especially among large and medium-sized economies.
Tusk noted that in 2025 investments increased by 4%, which – as he said – allows us to conclude that they have been rebuilt, although it is still an insufficient level. Therefore, the government is focusing on further stimulation of investments, both in infrastructure and in science, new technologies and startups.
He added that economic acceleration is expected to translate not only into macroeconomic indicators, but also into the financial situation of Polish families and the stability of state finances. (PAP)
