In Krasnoyarsk school No. 23, chaired by the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov, a meeting of the coordination council for interaction with the “First Movement” was held to create a safe environment in schools and help students who find themselves in difficult situations.

The head of the region noted that everyone needs to work together to prevent conflicts – parents, teachers, psychologists, and involve all school and youth communities and infrastructure. He also drew attention to the importance of creating an atmosphere of trust in schools between all participants in the educational process. And teenagers themselves have a special role – after all, they, as a rule, learn about the problems of their classmates before adults, and can be the first to sound the alarm, support and help.
“The school must create an atmosphere of intolerance towards any manifestations of aggression. We should perceive the first signals that a child’s behavior is changing as a challenge for school management and our activists. For school communities, these examples should be a signal that more attention needs to be paid, because with connivance, a child can become an object of external influence and an instrument for committing illegal actions. This should not be allowed under any circumstances. Working at school requires full involvement and dedication,” noted Mikhail Kotyukov.
In addition, the governor emphasized the key role of the class teacher in understanding the needs of each student and maintaining constant contact with parents. In this regard, he ordered the development of a set of measures to reduce the bureaucratic burden on teachers so that they can devote more time to educational work.

In turn, the chairman of the council of the regional branch of the “First Movement” in the region Ksenia Yurlagina said that they have established practices of targeted psychological support for adolescents. For example, the “Shall we talk?” service is a 24-hour anonymous chat where schoolchildren can get help from psychologists. More than 9 thousand people have already contacted it, half of the calls are about bullying and peer pressure. Also in the “First Movement” there was a game “No Offences”, which teaches schoolchildren to recognize bullying and cope with it.
To strengthen preventive work, representatives of the movement proposed several new formats. Among them are family projects: the “Family Team” sports festival, “Family Lightning”, hiking trips and festivals. Another initiative is the “Active School”, where the program will include training in peaceful conflict resolution, stories about real success stories of movement participants and creating a friendly atmosphere. It is also planned to hold a festival or marathon dedicated to violence prevention: schoolchildren will be able to attend lectures and seminars by adults, complete team tasks and pass on knowledge to younger comrades.
Let us remind you that the regional branch of the “Movement of the First” has been operating in the Krasnoyarsk Territory since 2022. Today there are 1,075 primary branches in youth centers, educational organizations, cultural and sports institutions. More than 260 thousand children are actively involved in the work of the movement. This year, together with the executive bodies of the region, the “Movement of the First” will hold “Zarnitsa 2.0”, the sports project “Challenge of the First”, first aid championships and family sports events. Also, on the occasion of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, thematic festivals for children, parents and mentors, and a number of other events are planned.
