
“Just a month ago, 20 distinguished founding members joined me in Davos, Switzerland, to celebrate the official creation of the Council. […] On February 19, 2026, I will reconvene with members of the Peace Council at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace in Washington,” he wrote.
The head of the White House noted that at this meeting it will be announced that the member states of the Peace Council will allocate “more than $5 billion for humanitarian and reconstruction work in Gaza.”
Trump also claims that “thousands of troops” will be sent to the international stabilization force and local police.

Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22 signed a document establishing the Peace Council. His The charter was signed by about 20 countries, including Hungary and Bulgaria among EU members.
