In the Khakassky Nature Reserve, wild dogs tore apart a hare (video)

In the Khakassky nature reserve, in the Oglakhty section, state inspectors drove out a pack of feral dogs that managed to attack a hare. This was announced by the director of the reserve Viktor Nepomnyashchy.
He emphasized that stray dogs pose a serious danger to specially protected natural areas. They prey on small mammals and birds, disrupt the balance of natural communities and influence the behavior of wild animals. This is one of the reasons why many protected areas have a strict ban on visiting pets.
According to Nepomniachtchi, the main reason for the appearance of stray dogs is the negligence of the owners. Until people realize their responsibility for animals, measures taken by the state and public organizations may be ineffective.
Let us add that the problem with the dominance of stray dogs also exists in the national parks of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, for example, in Stolby. Once domestic dogs interbreed with wolves. The wolf-dogs obtained through such crossing are fierce predators that attack in packs and are not afraid of people. It is difficult to get rid of them, because shooting animals in the protected area is prohibited.
