In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on September 1, children and adolescents from large families will receive free meals in schools and colleges. This was reported in the government of the region.
New measures to support children and adolescents were discussed today at the next meeting of the Presidium of the Government, whose work was headed by Governor Mikhail Kotyukov. Recall that with the initiative to provide free nutrition of children from large families and children with disabilities who study in schools and institutions of the SPO, the head of the region performed in the spring of this year during a direct line with Krasnoyarsk.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova said that hot food was organized today in 1,003 schools in the region. They provide all primary school students, and these are more than 151,000 children. As for students of middle and senior links, more than 34,000 people of various preferential categories received free meals in the last academic year, in particular, children of their participants and guys from low -income families. With the beginning of the school year, the support measure will affect another 22.7 thousand schoolchildren and 5.5 thousand students of SPO from large families.
A list of preferential categories that will receive two-time free meals at school is also expanded-these are disabled children who, due to legislative collisions, do not have a disabilities.
In addition, work continues in the region to improve the conditions for providing students with hot meals. Over the past three years in the territories of the region, catering units in 308 rural and urban schools have been completed by the necessary equipment. For children with food features, there is a special menu, and the situations itself with food in schools along with the administration of educational institutions oversees parental control.
