A rabies quarantine was introduced in the Emelyanovsky District; the corresponding decree was signed by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Mikhail Kotyukov. The document was published on the regional government website.

An area on the territory of the Vesnyanka SNT near the village of Krasny Pakhar was recognized as an epizootic outbreak. The quarantine zone extends within a radius of 2.4 km around the outbreak. It is prohibited to treat sick susceptible animals on the territory, to allow strangers into the SNT (except for staff, veterinarians and residents), to import and export animals without vaccination against rabies.

It is also prohibited to transport or regroup animals, skin corpses, or hunt susceptible animals.

The restrictions are in effect until April 20.
