“I informed about the situation at the front, Russian strikes and the consequences of attacks on the energy system. We discussed how we can help Ukraine protect life during the winter cold and strengthen our resilience,” Zelensky said in X.
According to him, he and Rubio discussed in detail the diplomatic process and trilateral meetings of the delegations of the United States, Ukraine and the aggressor country of the Russian Federation to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war.
“It is important that the negotiations planned in Geneva be productive, and I thank the United States of America for their constructive approach. Issues of the sequence of steps were also touched upon. It is important that there is movement on issues of security guarantees and economic recovery,” Zelensky wrote.
As noted in the OP, Zelensky and Rubio discussed how to help Ukraine with air defense missiles.
In addition, the Ukrainian side believes that a meeting should be held at the level of leaders in order to resolve the most problematic issues of the negotiation process, the President’s Office indicated.
As can be seen from the video published by Zelensky, the meeting with Rubio was also attended by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga, and Deputy Head of the OP Pavel Palisa.

Context
Zelensky and Rubio spoke at the Munich Security Conference.
Rubio, in particular, said that the United States is not confident in the seriousness of the intentions of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation to end the war against Ukraine.
In turn, Zelensky said that the United States offers security guarantees for 15 years, but Ukraine wants them to last more than 20 years – this is necessary to attract investors. The President also said that after the meeting with Rubio, in two hours, the Ukrainian side will have a telephone conversation with the special envoy of American President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, and then the head of the White House, Jared Kushner.
Zelensky noted on the sidelines of the conference that the replacement of the head of the Russian delegation at the trilateral negotiations in Geneva on February 17–18 was a surprise for Ukraine.
