The III All-Russian Interbank Forum “Kostroma Sloboda” started in Kostroma

The III All-Russian Interbank Forum “Kostroma Sloboda” opened in Kostroma. The organizer of the event is Sovcombank.

The forum takes place on February 12–13 and brings together more than 200 managers and leading specialists from 150 credit institutions from all over Russia.

Over the course of three years, Kostromskaya Sloboda has confirmed its status as a reputable professional platform for open dialogue among the banking community with the participation of the regulator and regional authorities.

Governor of the Kostroma Region Sergei Sitnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Nikolai Zhuravlev, as well as the Manager of the Kostroma Region Branch of the Main Directorate of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District Alexey Rybachenok addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank Sergei Khotimsky took part in the forum. He acted as a key speaker at the session “Dialogue with the architects of financial strategies: the financial world today and tomorrow.”

The stability of the industry directly depends on how effectively banks interact with each other, trust partners and build cooperation mechanisms. The business program of the forum is devoted to topical issues of development of the financial sector in the current economic conditions. Participants discuss liquidity management, development of partner services, investment strategies and scenarios for the future of the financial market.

The choice of Kostroma as a venue for the forum emphasizes the region’s status as a center of business activity. It was here that the history of Sovcombank, today one of the country’s systemically important financial institutions, began more than 30 years ago.
