In Kansk, the court fined an entrepreneur for mass poisoning at school No. 15. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Let us recall that in the summer of 2024, a municipal contract for the organization of hot meals was concluded between school No. 15 in Kansk and a local entrepreneur. However, food safety was violated. In the catering department, the equipment processing and washing regimes were not followed, and proper control over the sanitary condition of the equipment was not carried out. As a result, the violations led to the contamination of ready-made dishes with the causative agent of salmonellosis.
In November 2024, 55 people, including 51 children, fell ill after lunch at school. 36 schoolchildren and 5 employees were diagnosed with salmonellosis and required hospitalization. Another 15 people were treated on an outpatient basis.
The businessman admitted guilt, but refused to testify. During the court hearing, he said that in 11 years of his work this happened for the first time.

“The court recognized man guilty of violating sanitary and epidemiological rules, resulting in mass illness of children and employees By Part 1 Art. 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced to 600 thousand rubleslei fine” – told the regional prosecutor's office.
In addition, the court recovered 320 thousand rubles from the entrepreneur in favor of the victims.lei for compensation for moral damage.
