There is an ongoing collective dispute at Biedronka. Negotiations begin on 10 demands


At the end of January, Biedronka “Solidarity”, operating in the chain of stores, submitted a list of 10 demands to the management board. They mainly concern increasing wages, paying bonuses and improving working conditions, but also trade union activities. The most important demand is to increase the basic wages of all employees by PLN 1,000. PLN gross. “A beginner cashier's rate is PLN 4,850 gross, i.e. close to the minimum wage. This rate is inadequate for this job,” emphasizes Gabriela Kaim, president of “Solidarity” in the Biedronka chain, in the union's announcement.
