Norilsk entrepreneur fined for non-payment of wages to 54 employees

In Norilsk, after the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, an individual entrepreneur paid off salary debts in the amount of 10 million rubles.
According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, in Norilsk in September last year, 54 employees of individual entrepreneurs stopped receiving wages. As a result, with September to November 2025 debt for wages and settlements upon dismissal made up 10 million rubleslei.
“The prosecutor’s office organized an inspection and gathered everyone – the debtor, the customer, the contractor, the subcontractor – for a meeting. They drew up a clear payment schedule and accelerated the acceptance of work under the contract so that the money would arrive faster. At the same time, the prosecutor made a representation to the entrepreneur; by order of the prosecutor, he was fined for failure to pay wages on time (Part 6 of Article 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation),” – the supervisory authority said.
