On the initiation of a criminal case under paragraph “e” of Part 3 of Art. 286 and part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was reported today to the Investigative Committee.
According to investigators, in 2023 the district administration allocated 12 million rubles to carry out work to improve the territory of one of the schools in the city of Uyar and Galatov by conspired with his acquaintance, bypassing the necessary competitive procedures, to ensure the conclusion of a contract with his company. Then as a resultunlawful actions caused damage to the budget in the amount of more than 2 million rubles.
“The main contract was divided into several parts and between August and November 2023, 21 contracts worth about 600 thousand rubles each were concluded with the contractor. During their implementation, the contractor changed the estimate documentation, as a result of which some of the work was carried out with a gross violation of technology, cheaper and lower quality materials were used (asphalt), and some of the work was not completed, which resulted in an actual reduction in their cost by a total of more than 2 million rubles. However, at the direction of the person involved, the work was accepted, and the money was transferred to the affiliated company in full,” the Investigative Committee said.
The powers of Sergei Galatov were terminated in 2023 due to the election of a new head of the district. Now the accused does not officially work anywhere. The day before, he was detained in Krasnoyarsk and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention.
