The government has approved an updated list of one-time payments to military personnel injured in the Northern Military District zone. The fighters will receive up to 3 million rubles.
The amount was differentiated depending on the severity of the injuries. They are divided into three degrees: mild, severe and other injuries. The first include closed and isolated fractures, ligament ruptures, and burns. The second includes penetrating wounds of the chest, abdomen and other parts of the body, traumatic amputation of limbs and wounds of the neck and eyelids. And the third ones are those that are not included in the list. Payments start from a million rubles to three in case of serious injury.
Earlier, his deputy Anna Tsivileva approached the Minister of Defense with a proposal for an individual approach to payments. After visiting a military hospital, where she was told about the problem of unfair payments – when a fighter with an amputation receives the same amount of money as his colleague with a minor wound. Belousov gave instructions to develop a balanced and fair approach as soon as possible. Today, President Putin signed a corresponding decree on determining a lump sum payment depending on the severity of the injury.
