31-year-old Thai model Sasinan Chuenlosang fell ill with tonsillitis while on vacation. She went to the hospital, where she was prescribed the antibiotic Ceftriaxone.
However, the use of the medicine only made her worse. The symptoms of the disease worsened, but the doctors insisted on continuing the course. Three days later, Sasinan's body was covered in blisters, she became blind in her right eye and was almost unable to move normally.
Doctors had to immediately put her into a medically induced coma. She spent a week in this state. Doctors came to the conclusion that the cause of the model’s terrible condition was antibiotics to which she was allergic.
