In Bratislava, Rubio is scheduled to meet with “leading members of the Slovak government to promote shared regional security interests, strengthen bilateral cooperation on nuclear energy and energy diversification, and support the modernization of Slovakia's military and its NATO commitments,” the State Department said.
In Budapest, the US foreign minister is to meet with “key Hungarian officials to strengthen Washington's common bilateral and regional interests, including (US) commitment to peace processes aimed at resolving global conflicts and to US-Hungarian energy cooperation,” the statement reads.
