In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the assistance of the employment service, 3,600 participants in the Siberian Longevity movement were employed

Since the beginning of the year, the regional employment service has already employed 3,600 older applicants.

In addition to assistance in finding a job, within the framework of the “Siberian Longevity” movement, training events on adaptation to the labor market were organized for residents of the region. Also, classes on entrepreneurship were held for representatives of the older generation. As a result, about 200 people started their own businesses.

Vacancies were offered to residents of the region taking into account their wishes, experience and knowledge. 2,800 citizens found permanent positions, and about 800 more people took temporary positions.

“In the labor market, older applicants are distinguished by experience and knowledge. Such candidates are distinguished by discipline, a responsible attitude to work, and composure. They not only professionally perform their assigned duties, but can also be mentors for young specialists,” said Viktor Novikov, head of the labor and employment agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Employers value such employees and offer them a wide range of specialties. This year, people most often occupied the vacant jobs of electricians, drivers, mechanics, engineers, stackers, packers, and office clerks. For example, in the Kozulsky municipal district, a manager of a household is employed at the Integrated Center for Social Services for the Population; in the Idrinsko-Krasnoturansky municipal district, an administrator is employed at the Recreation Center; in Zheleznogorsk, a custodian of funds is employed at the Museum and Exhibition Center.

As part of the “Siberian Longevity” movement, which was created on the initiative of the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov, job seekers were provided with consultations in the field of employment, trainings on removing psychological barriers to employment, classes on writing a resume, and preparing for interviews.

Employment centers have created conditions under which clients can extend their working life. They help you unlock your potential both in your current specialty and after professional training. This year, about 400 older residents of the region have received free training under the Krasnoyarsk Territory program “Promotion of Employment” or the national project “Personnel”.

Citizens are also provided with financial support to organize their own business. About 200 citizens have already started a business, almost a quarter in the manufacturing sector, the rest are engaged in agriculture, public catering, and consumer services.

It should be noted that in total in 2025, over 27 thousand residents of the region will be employed with the assistance of the employment service. Since the beginning of the year, 11.4 thousand employers have placed over 154.3 thousand job offers. Today, about 37 thousand vacancies are available for job seekers. Many are aimed at specialists in the manufacturing industry, construction, agriculture and forestry.
