– A group of brilliant people decided to cooperate with me and Minister Domański – in terms of acceleration, because our future requires acceleration in terms of economy, business, science – flexibility and modernity in terms of procedures and decision-making. (…) We believe that Poland can be the best place when it comes to economy, modern technologies and creative thinking – said Tusk.

The Prime Minister announced that the “host of the work of the Future Council” will be the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański.

The head of government announced that the Council would include people who “have explored space, can produce the most valued satellites, scientists who know how to transform science into business and big money”, who know “how to design the future so that Poland is a leader in many fields.”

The Future Council will accelerate the development of the Polish economy

– Today, Poland is the 20th largest economy in the world. We will participate in the work of the G20 group, but of course we have ambitions for more. I am absolutely convinced that as part of the group's work, we will soon present solutions and tools that will help the Polish economy develop even faster, said Domański during a press conference in Warsaw with the participation of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and members of the Future Council.

The Minister of Finance emphasized that technological sovereignty is an important topic for the council. He added that the first meeting had already been held.

Domański pointed out that the areas in which Poland will build its economic growth in the coming years and decades include: artificial intelligence, data, space technologies, dual-use technologies and biotechnology. (PAP)
