Art schools, ballet sections, chess, music classes, creative workshops, theater clubs and other cultural activities occupy almost 1.3 million square meters of real estate in Moscow.
These are more than 1000 new buildings and renovated premises in which Muscovites of all ages work and create under inspiration and tourists who decided to get excited at the master classes. Entertainment for the creative hemisphere is available at almost every step – according to statistics, within a 15-minute walk from home you will come across a section, art circle or space.
Providing cultural institutions with new spaces in all districts of the city is one of the tasks for developing the social infrastructure of the capital.
Since 2010, the city authorities have provided cultural institutions with 215 buildings and more than 850 premises. 300 of them are in the center, 117 in the south, 135 each in the east and west, and a few more in other areas of Moscow. Plus a little bit about the region.
