Alexander Pushnoy and the OTP Studio group will take the stage at the Krasnoyarsk Circus Concert Hall with bold and noisy interpretations of the most famous songs and all their favorite hits.

Uncle Sasha treats his work with humor and does not claim to be the “king of rock and roll.” His style is difficult to define within traditional genre boundaries, because many songs are covers of famous hits or a combination of several in one. Everything that Alexander Pushnoy does – be it re-coverings of the group “Brilliant” to the music of Rammstein or his own compositions – bears the stamp of satire and humor.

When: 7 and 8 February

The tragedy of the hunchback Rigoletto – a cynical jester and a tender father, his young daughter Gilda and the frivolous seducer-duke, is elevated by Verdi's richest melodies to the heights of a true masterpiece. The opera is included in the repertoires of almost all theaters in the world, and the Duke’s song “The heart of beauties is prone to betrayal” is known even to those who rarely go to the theater.

The authors of the play reflect on the problem of selfishness: is it acceptable to live the way the Duke of Mantua lives? It would seem why not – most people live for their own pleasure! But in the 21st century, a pandemic hit the world, and people stopped, thinking about the good old truth that living with pleasure is limited, and in trouble a person has no one but another person. Of course, the viewer will look with interest at a familiar plot through this prism, and this will be a look from the past to the present through the future.

The importance of the Yenisei is great both for industry and for the culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists and writers.

The works presented at the exhibition were written during the voyages that the artist Elena Ilyankova made on the ships of the Yenisei River Shipping Company. Together with the crews of cargo ships, Elena overcame the rapids on Podkamennaya Tunguska and encountered storms in the Yenisei Gulf. This allowed her to visit non-tourist places, see from the inside the life of river fleet workers, and, of course, was reflected in her paintings.
