In addition, today the parliamentarians decided to amend additional measures of social support for certain categories of Norilsk residents:

  • The payments to certain categories of Norilcans for the International Day of Protection of Children and International Day of the Disabled – were indexed – They are tripled – from 1 to 3 thousand rubles;

  • Payment of the fare to the place of radiation therapy in the regional oncocenter, payment for the place of treatment, examination, consultations, as well as the payment of the fare to the place of medical care will now be carried out at the expense of the regional budget, and therefore this measure of social support from the Norilsk treasury is excluded;

  • Due to the funds of the municipality, the costs associated with the residence of patients and the persons accompanying them (if necessary) will still be reimbursed if the passage of inpatient treatment or examination in the KGBUZ “Krasnoyarsk Regional Oncological Dispensary named after A.I. Kryzhanovsky. “

Also today, parliamentarians made adjustments to the current procedure for paying local governments to employees of local self -government, municipal institutions financed from the Norilsk budget (their families), travel and baggage to the place of vacation and vice versa. In particular, citizens who have the status of self -employed are excluded from the category of “non -working spouse”. The presence/absence of such a status will need to be confirmed by the appropriate certificate from the tax inspectorate. The innovations will enter into force on 01.01.2026.

In addition, the deputies decided to establish three new memorial plaques on the buildings of Norilsk, perpetuating the names of the famous Norilcans: Vladimir Petrovich Mechanic (the board will be placed on the house on 1stlye Story, 1); Yuri Leonidovich Lux (a memorial plaque in his honor will appear on the house on the street Polyarny, 11); Vladimir Zosimovich Matveev (the board will be placed on the building of the former railway station on 8 Stzelnaya St.).

And today it became known the name of the anniversary, 80th in a row, an honorary citizen of the city of Norilsk: on the initiative of the collective of the Norilsk City Council of Deputies, Viktor Zyupko, deputy chairman of the city council, was submitted to the highest award of the territory. The package of documents was considered by the award policy with the adoption of a positive decision and was sent for consideration by the deputy corps at today's session. Parliamentarians unanimously supported the title of “Honorary Citizen of the city of Norilsk” to their colleague.

Commenting on the decision, the chairman of the city council of Norilsk, Alexander Pestryakov, noted that the newly -made honorary citizen does not need a special submission, because his entire labor biography is connected with the northern city:

“Viktor Vladimirovich has been working in Norilsk for almost half a century, 18 of which are in the City Council. Today he is the most experienced deputy, the fifth convocation in a row has been working. The presence of numerous awards of different levels, including the Order of Friendship and Medals of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II The degree allowed us to petition for the assignment of the highest award of the territory, ”he emphasized.

We add that the presentation of a reward to the 80th honorary citizen of the city of Norilsk will traditionally be held during the award ceremony, dedicated to the day of the city and Metallurg Day.

Summing up the past session, the speaker of the local parliament, Alexander Pestryakov, recalled that the deputies have to gather again in July:

“This year, we slightly adjusted our work schedule, reducing the so -called“ deputy holidays ”. The next month we plan to consider adjusting the city budget – it has already entered the city council. This will allow us to redistribute funds, including saved on competitive procedures, for priority tasks. Of course, at the forefront, we put the unconditional implementation of all the events planned for this year as part of the renovation program, ”he summed up.
