On Friday, the prosecutor issued a decision to search for the suspect, former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro, with an arrest warrant, the National Prosecutor's Office informed.

The National Prosecutor's Office explained in a statement that the letter was issued in order to carry out procedural activities with Ziobro's participation, because – as indicated – they have not been carried out to date due to the failure to determine the suspect's whereabouts.
On Friday, the Warsaw Police Headquarters published an arrest warrant with the image and details of Zbigniew Ziobro on its website.
Ziobro is in Hungary, where in December last year obtained international asylum.
The prosecutor's office accuses the former head of the Ministry of Justice during the PiS government of, among others, that he headed an organized criminal group and used his position for criminal activities. Ziobro allegedly committed 26 crimes, including: give orders to his subordinates to break the law in order to provide selected entities with subsidies from the Justice Fund, interfere in the preparation of competition offers and allow funds to be awarded to unauthorized entities.
